OMS OA Scheduled

Just received confirmation that my OMS OA is scheduled for July 8th!  Now let the preparations begin!  I was hoping for a Monday or Friday test date to extend my trip to DC for the weekend for some sightseeing, but alas July 8th falls on a Wednesday.  Seeing as my vacation time is pretty limited at this point, I'll most likely fly in on Tuesday afternoon and out of DC on Wednesday evening, either elated or sobbing into a glass of airplane wine. I am quite thrilled to have the chance to go to the OA and it is hard to believe it is real.  After trying for unsuccessfully for three years to get an invite to the FSOA it was exciting to actually receive an invite for once! I think my experience would apply well to either the OMS position or an Officer position and I'll keep trying to get in any way possible. I should hear back in May for this years QEP results, but am not getting my hopes up. I'm going to study as hard as possible for the OMS OA and hope for the best.
